ALLING (ALLEN) GENERATION CHART
ALLEYNE, ALLYN, ALLAN, ALLEN, ALLIN, ALLING
ALAN de BUCHENHALL, who held the lordship of Buchenhall (now Buckenhall), in Stafforshire, in the reign of King Edward I., is stated to have been the ancestor of the numerous branches of Allan, Allen, Allyn, Alleyn, and Alleyne.  The original spelling of the name appears to have been Alleyne.
ALLEYNE--This family bore Arms --per chevron gules and ermine in chief, two lions' heads erased or, Crest--Out of a ducal coronet a horse's head argent.  Motto -- Non tua te moveant sed publica vota
